Life as Ashley is a lifestyle blog centered around beauty, travel, life hacks, and good eats. The girl behind the blog is Ashley Brooks. She resides in Austin, Texas where she devotes the majority of her day to creating gorgeous hair at Blonde Faith Salon . Ashley is an expert in Hand tied Extensions and Blonding techniques, including but not limited to Highlights, Balayage, and Baby lights.

Outside of the salon, Ashley spends her time traveling to new places, taking on house projects, adventuring outdoors, exploring Austin, trying new restaurants, spending time with her boyfriend, friends and family.

The purpose of this blog is to inspire, share experiences and get a closer look at the girl behind the chair.

”I can’t thank my amazing clients enough for the continuous trust, loyalty and love for the past 4+ years at @blondefaithsalon. 
Each day that you sit in my chair and share your lives with me is a blessing.

I learned early on that you cannot and will not make it in this industry without truly caring for people.
Hair seems like such a small thing in the bigger picture of life.. but it’s the small moments that change lives. I’ve seen this first hand. It’s so much more than just hair! I do it for the girl who doubts herself, the woman who doesn’t like what she sees in the mirror, the Momma who desperately needs to feel like herself again, and the person who doesn’t have anyone to look at them and truly see them.

My heart overflows with joy knowing that I get to do what I love every day and that I have the skill set to touch someone’s life! Not to mention I get to work along side the most selfless, hardworking, passionate, and creative people in this world, Hairstylists.
